Animal Dental Clinic of Pittsburgh, LLC welcomes you!

Specialty Dentistry for Dogs & Cats

Animal Dental Clinic of Pittsburgh offers a range of expert dentistry procedures to manage and treat your pet's oral and dental conditions. Our new location in Cranberry Township features the only board certified small animal veterinary dentist in Western Pennsylvania, Dr. Krista Mendoza.

Animal Dental Clinic of Pittsburgh welcomes patients on a referral-only basis. Primary Care Veterinarians need to send a Dental Referral and medical records using our online referral form and dental email to start the appointment process. Prior to the dental consultation, Dr. Mendoza will review your pet's information from the referring veterinarian to identify possible dental problems along with any on-going health concerns. Additional blood work, diagnostic testing, preliminary procedures, or medication protocols may be advised before the specialty dental visit.

Appointments

Initial consultations with dental procedures are scheduled early mornings Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with surgeries to start mid-morning. Discharges are scheduled after allowing adequate time for patient recovery in the afternoon. Initial dental consult only appointments, extended dental rechecks, and dental rechecks to follow up post procedures are scheduled on Fridays, with post procedure rechecks also available Monday thru Thursday mornings.

Full payment is due at time of pickup the day of your pet's dental procedure. Estimates will be generated at the time of dental consultation for owners to review along with a consent form before their pet is admitted for the dental procedure. All members of our Dental Team are committed to exceptional care for you and your pets. We expect to work together with owners to make the best treatment decisions possible for each and every patient. Mutual respect amongst all parties is essential, and any level of verbal harassment, foul language, abusive behavior, or threats absolutely will not be tolerated and will result in termination of services.
